Things are Looking up, oh finally
Just a bunch of random thoughts, opinions and discoveries. Always reflecting, always remembering, and always finding ways to inspire myself to grow and to remind myself that everyone you meet will teach you something.

I'm a convert/revert to Islam. I love learning about other cultures and eating their delicious food. I tend to always see the bright side of everything! =)
Everything that I post is something I genuinely like/love/appreciate and relate to.
Hope you like what you see.

Beauty is sincerity. I think that there are so many different ways that someone can be beautiful… personality traits that come through when somebody is really sincere is what makes them beautiful.

indonesianhistory:

Here comes some crowns of old Indonesian kingdoms! Found on this forum and I think you can feast your eyes there if you’re a fan of royal items from all over the world. Comments are by uploader. As for the crowns, respectively…

  • Banten Sultanate, 18th century, said to be a part of the National Museum collection now. The uploader said leaves are among the common motifs used in old Islamic Indonesian kingdom.
  • Kutai Kertanegara, circa 19th century, known as ketopong. Commissioned for Sultan Muhammad Sulaiman, made of two kilos of gold.
  • Kingdom of Singaraja, circa 19th century. Commissioned as a part of a larger set of royal adornment by King Gusti Agung Gede Agung in 1890 for an important wedding ceremony. Almost exclusively used by the Queen. Now part of a collection at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
  • Kahuripan Kingdom, circa 10th century, featuring the Garudamukha which signifies the the royal element of the kingdom.
  • Ancient Mataram Kingdom, circa 650-1000 AD. Known as the Usnisha. Royal headdress used by the King for Buddhist religious rituals. Now part of a collection at Yale University Art Gallery.
  • Badung Kingdom, circa 19th century. Used for royal weddings and royal rituals. It also incorporates the asti karang sacred stone at the back of the crown to ward off evil. Now part of a collection at the National Museum.
  • Siak Sri Indrapura Sultanate, handed over by the last king of Siak, Sultan Syarif Kasim II, to the national government following the declaration of independence in 1945. Now part of a collection at the National Museum.

In case you are wondering, yes, they are made of gold!

Love this jeweled clutch I found at Shoe Palace (Riyadh) by Rodo..
The only problem I have with such a clutch is that it could get caught on your dress …
What do you dolls think? Gorge!
حبيت هالكلتش اللي لقيته في قصر الأحذية (الرياض) من ماركة رودو… المشكلة الوحيدة بهالكلتشات هي انها تعلق بالفساتين بسبب نهاية الملقط تبع الأحجار .. 👛
بس حلو !!! رأيكم …
